Welcome to SafePetGoods! The terms "we," "our," and "us" refer to SafePetGoods. SafePetGoods operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, to provide you with a personalized shopping experience (the "Services"). SafePetGoods is powered by Shopify.

We do not guarantee that product quality or appearance will meet your expectations or match exactly what is presented online.
All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product and to limit quantities offered per person, geographic area or jurisdiction.
Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. SafePetGoods reserves the right to accept or refuse any order at its discretion. Your order is only confirmed upon written confirmation from SafePetGoods. Payment must be received and processed before your order is validated.
Please review your order carefully before submitting, as SafePetGoods may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests once an order is confirmed. Returns and exchanges are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
You represent that your purchases are for personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.
Pricing & Billing
Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time of your order, as shown in your order confirmation email. Unless expressly stated, displayed prices do not include applicable taxes, shipping fees, customs duties or import charges.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete purchase and payment information. You represent that: (i) your payment information is accurate and complete; (ii) you are authorized to use the payment method provided; (iii) charges will be honored by your card issuer; and (iv) you will pay all charges including shipping, handling and applicable Canadian taxes (GST/HST/PST).
Shipping & Delivery
We cannot be held responsible for shipping or delivery delays. All delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs processes or events beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Deliveries are made within Canada and the United States. For international orders, additional customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Services — including trademarks, logos, text, images, graphics, product reviews, videos and audio — is the exclusive property of SafePetGoods, its subsidiaries or licensors, and is protected under Canadian and international intellectual property law.
These Terms permit you to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent. The SafePetGoods name, logo, product names, designs and slogans are trademarks of SafePetGoods and may not be used without prior written authorization.

You may have access to third-party tools through the Services, over which we have no control. These tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty or endorsement. Your use of optional tools is entirely at your own risk and discretion.

If you leave the Services to access third-party content, you do so at your own risk. All claims related to third-party products or services must be directed to the relevant third party.
Relationship with Shopify
SafePetGoods is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services. However, all sales and purchases made through our store are conducted directly with SafePetGoods. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and SafePetGoods, including any damage, harm or loss resulting from products or services purchased. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, damages or liability arising from your purchase or transaction with SafePetGoods.
Privacy Policy
All personal information collected through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, to Shopify's Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read both policies.
Feedback
By submitting ideas, suggestions, reviews or other feedback ("Feedback") to SafePetGoods, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish and distribute that Feedback for any purpose, including commercial use.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your Feedback and that it complies with these Terms. We are under no obligation to maintain confidentiality of your Feedback, compensate you for it, or respond to it. We may monitor, edit or remove any Feedback that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be unlawful, offensive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable.
Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
The Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice, even after an order has been submitted.
Prohibited Uses
You may only use the Services for lawful purposes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine you have violated these Terms.
Agents
This section applies if you use, authorize or deploy any software agent ("Agent") to access or interact with the Services. An "Agent" means any software acting autonomously or semi-autonomously on behalf of a person or entity without direct supervision.
No Agent may access the Services unless it: (i) clearly identifies itself as an Agent in all HTTP/HTTPS requests; (ii) does not impersonate human behavior or bypass CAPTCHA measures; (iii) honestly responds to any prompt determining whether interactions originate from a human or computer; (iv) does not circumvent any measures we implement to restrict Agent access.

We reserve the right to terminate this agreement or your access to the Services at any time, without notice, at our sole discretion. You remain liable for all amounts owed up to the date of termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Feedback, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Governing Law — will continue to apply.
Disclaimer of Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED BY SAFEPETGOODS, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS PROVIDED THROUGH THEM ARE OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. SOME CANADIAN PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, SAFEPETGOODS, ITS PARTNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR SAVINGS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS OBTAINED THROUGH THEM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SafePetGoods, Shopify, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and service providers from any loss, damage, liability or claim, including reasonable legal fees, arising from: (1) your breach of these Terms; (2) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (3) your access to and use of the Services.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion will be deemed severed from these Terms without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
Waiver & Entire Agreement
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies published on the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and SafePetGoods governing your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
Assignment
You may not delegate, transfer or assign this agreement or any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized assignment is void. We may transfer or assign these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent.
Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You and SafePetGoods consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update, modify or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting updates on our website. You are responsible for checking this page periodically. We will notify you of any material changes as required by applicable Canadian law. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
